2010 Season In Review


For the second year in a row, the Tigers finished the 2010 season with a perfect district record, claiming the District 13-5A Championship, and going to the 2nd-round playoffs before finishing with an impressive 11-1 record.  The Tigers' repeat of 2009's perfect district season solidified them as one of the top 5A teams in the state. 
The Tigers consistently displayed strength on both offense and defense, fueled by leadership and outstanding individual effort, earning them 17 All-District Team awards, 3 invitations to high school bowl games, and one Tiger's receipt of the 2010 Houston Touchdown Club's Defensive Player of the Year award.
 Once again, Coach Svoboda's outstanding leadership was honored through a number of organizations.  He was again nominated for the Houston Touchdown Club Coach of the Year award, and was named District 13-5A Coach of the Year. 
Because of their hard work and dedication, 7 Tigers were signed to scholarships on Tiger Signing Day 2011. We're proud of our 2010-11 Klein Collins Tigers. Way to go!
