On the morning of Friday May 2, 2008 Klein Collins Athletic Director and head Football coach Mike Konicki passed away at his home in Klein, with his family by his side. Coach Konicki was full of integrity and character, just a great human being. He fought a brave battle, and was a fine example to everyone about how to handle adversity. 

He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
